The Data Quality PEIMS Assistant and Registrar serves as the initial contact for contracting and future clients. Someone who is organized, flexible, efficient, a self-starter, and comfortable being a member of a team. Must have the ability to complete accurate data entry in multiple software formats, multi-task while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support. Resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.


  • High School Diploma (required)
  • Some College (preferred)
  • Valid Driver’s License (required)
  • Reliable Transportation with Current Insurance (required)
  • Prior Employment or Certification within the Texas Education System (preferred)


  • Experience in Registrar or PEIMS Clerk methods
  • Experience in using a Student Information System
  • Experience developing training materials
  • Experience in providing training to large and small groups
  • Experience in web-based learning

Student Registrar

  • Weekly: Enrollment Tracking TxEIS Import/Export (multiple LEAs)
  • Weekly: Blank TSDS UID determinations (multiple LEAs)
  • Weekly: TSDS UID assignments (multiple LEAs)
  • Work with LEAs to obtain TSDS UID discrepancy documentation
  • Contact schools for records not fulfilled
  • TREx Record request
  • TREx Record fulfillment
  • Enter student’s attendance
  • Fulfill student withdraws upon request
  • Review student records to confirm all documents are received
  • Contact parents for record completion
  • Manage calendars of Data Quality Specialists
  • File/manage LEA documents
  • Student Schedule data entry
  • Entry of student schedule changes
  • Assist in basic SIS troubleshooting
  • Strong attention to detail in both written and verbal communication
  • Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for contracted schools
  • Compile, maintain, and file all physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents as required

Office Administration

  • Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed
  • Respond to questions and requests for information

  • Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy
  • Light travel may be required within the DFW area
  • Admin duties may require assignments on-site to a school campus
  • Ability to train or teach basic computer fundamentals via Webinars
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary/Status: $26,500 – $39,000

Status: Exempt or Non-Exempt / Based on Experience
